چکیده

A finite universal algebra is called strictly simple if it is simple and has no nontrivial subalgebras. An algebra is said to be Abelian if for every term t(x, ȳ) and for all elements a, b, c̄, d̄, we have the following implication: t(a, c̄) = t(a, d̄) −→ t(b, c̄) = t(b, d̄). It is shown that every finite simple Abelian universal algebra is strictly simple. This generalizes a well known fact about Abelian groups and modules.

Lie Algebras with Abelian Centralizers

We classify all finite dimensional Lie algebras over an algebraically closed field of characteristic 0, whose nonzero elements have abelian centralizers. These algebras are either simple or solvable, where the only simple such Lie algebra is sl2. In the solvable case they are either abelian or a one-dimensional split extension of an abelian Lie algebra.

The structure of a pair of nilpotent Lie algebras

Assume that $(N,L)$, is a pair of finite dimensional nilpotent Lie algebras, in which $L$ is non-abelian and $N$ is an ideal in $L$ and also $mathcal{M}(N,L)$ is the Schur multiplier of the pair $(N,L)$. Motivated by characterization of the pairs $(N,L)$ of finite dimensional nilpotent Lie algebras by their Schur multipliers (Arabyani, et al. 2014) we prove some properties of a pair of nilpoten...

Smarandache algebras and their subgroups

In this paper we define S algebras and show that every finite group can be found in some S algebra.  We define and study the S degree of a finite group and determine the S degree of several classes of finite groups such as cyclic groups, elementary abelian $p$-groups, and dihedral groups $D_p$.

Abelian Ideals with given Dimension in Borel Subalgebras

A well-known Peterson’s theorem says that the number of abelian ideals in a Borel subalgebra of a rank-r finite dimensional simple Lie algebra is exactly 2r . In this paper, we determine the dimensional distribution of abelian ideals in a Borel subalgebra of finite dimensional simple Lie algebras, which is a refinement of the Peterson’s theorem capturing more Lie algebra invariants.
